When I re-read the title, I thought I’d all you Ranch Wives… but sadly this title is very literal in its meaning – Ranch Seasoned trail mix. I am always searching for fun things to add to Jordan’s lunch box during harvest season because I’m sure the granola bars, bags of chips, and deli meat sandwiches get old. Kudos to my sister in law, Janelle, for sharing this bomb.com recipe with me. It is a hit with not only our farmer but our two toddlers as well. Since it makes such a large batch, I am going to bag some up to share with our employees.

Harvest Ranch Trail Mix

1 bag Original Bugles

1 bag Oyster Crackers

1 bag pretzels

1 bag cheddar crackers (I use Goldfish)

1 small can Cashews (peanuts would work too)

3/4C oil

1oz (1 packet) Ranch seasoning

Mix oil and ranch seasoning in a bowl and set to the side. Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl (that has a lid). Pour oil mixture over dry ingredients. Mix throughly and cover with lid. Let stand for an hour and shake then flip over. Repeat three more times and enjoy!
