Okay, okay. YES, I claim to love all things pigs and seriously love any cut of pork but my creativity side is lacking in the kitchen most days and I am a repeat offender of grilling pork chops, steaks and burgers for multiple meals per month. When cooked properly (no more than 145° F) I promise, well seasoned, grilled pork is hard to contend with.

However, one of my most asked questions from women who have lots of pork in the freezer or want to cook with more pork is: how do you cook your pork ________? I’ve let curiosity get the best of me and started to do some serious searching for ways to cook pork other than grilling.

We can all go to Pinterest and find a recipe to try but I hate that. 9/10 its a bust and not really as “delicious” as the photo looks. BUT my friend, Ally, who is an incredible Midwestern food blogger, has equipped me with some of her top pork recipes and obviously I have to share. I have cooked many of her other recipes with huge success in our house – so this is a win, win for us all!

Here are some of Ally’s favorite pork recipes that can all be cooked indoors! Hello yummy, warm your insides winter foods…

IOWA HAM BALLS

MEXICAN TACO EGG BAKE

INSTANT POT HAWAIIAN FRIED RICE (tried it already and loved it!)

LASAGNA SOUP

OVEN BAKED BBQ RIBS

SAVORY HAM & CHEESE DUTCH BABY

ONE POT SKILLET LASAGNA (this is what I made last night! I opted out of adding spinach because my family wouldn’t have touched it with a 10-ft pole – it was delicious!)
