It is finally October and one of the best months of the year. The crisp fall air reminds you to grab a jacket in the morning, apple cider is readily available at local market, and harvest is well under way. Amazingly enough, October is also National Pork Month and what better way than to celebrate by sharing information about raising pigs and cooking pork all month long.
It is kind of our thing, raising pigs. We diversified our row crop operation with lots of pigs {gilts, sows, barrows – small all the way to large}. You can classify us as proud pork producers from the Show-Me State!
