Marriages last because two people make a choice to keep it, to fight for it and to work for it. // And, on top of that, run a business together and THEN see how much you love each other…⠀⠀

Yesterday, I spent the entire 8 hours at work deciphering a collection of scale tickets while trying to allocate fertilizer. Jordan walked into my office and requested {more like demanded} an up-to-date financial statement and a few other smaller items. I couldn’t provide said documents because I was drowning in data from the 2019 crop year, slowly working it through it piece by piece. I’m close but today it felt so far away.

Remember when I said I have no formal accounting education. Yeah, yesterday, it showed. I jokingly yelled at Jordan to leave my office… I say jokingly lightly because I really did want him to go away. Not because I was mad at him for asking for something I should have been able to provide but because I was embarrassed.

90% of the time, I have life under control or I can at least make everyone think I do. This was a weak spot, my Achilles heel.

In case you are wondering, I got half of the fertilizer allocated and hope to finish the rest today. Hope is the key word there. I also “hope” Jordan is busy outside of the office so I can focus and give him his documents at the end of the day with a smile and not a kick in the butt.

I vow to love all of you. Snoring included.

But not really the snoring. Snoring makes me want to throat punch you. Sorry, not sorry! Happy Tuesday, y’all!
